The Solebury Orchards Market is open from late June through April. Our first crops to ripen are Cherries and Blueberries, followed by Peaches, Pears, Plums, and Apples. Throughout the summer, fall, and winter months the market is well stocked with fruits and berries grown in the surrounding fields and orchards of the farm. Please check the chart below for approximate ripening times of crops. We take great pride in the fine quality and outstanding flavor of our fruits and are sure you will find our products very satisfying.

Open Thursday through Sunday 9 to 6
Reopening for the season Thursday, June 25
Blueberry and Cherry season begins this week. Hours are Thursday to Sunday 9 to 6. Blueberry supply may be limited for our first week, but we should have a good supply the following week and through July. We will have a good supply of Sweet Cherries starting this week and continuing for several weeks. Sour Cherries will only be available as fresh frozen packs this season. You will also find a mix of local vegetables from Roots to River Farm.
Unfortunately, our Cherry crop of both sweet and sour varieties was decimated by freezing temperatures on April 21. On this date we had a low temperature of 23 degrees and after unusually warm weather in March and early April, the spring growth had advanced to a point vulnerable to freezing.
We are able to bring in excellent quality Cherries from outside our region to keep our market stocked and anticipate having a good supply for our first week and into July. Sour cherries are too delicate to ship in but the frozen packs will be a good substitute (and they come already pitted and ready to use).
