    The Solebury Orchards Market opens for the season in mid to late June.  Our first crops to ripen are Cherries, Blueberries, and Raspberries, followed by Apricots, Peaches, Pears, Plums, and Apples.  Through the summer, fall, and winter the market is well stocked with the fruits and berries that are grown in the surrounding fields and orchards of  the farm.  Please check the chart below for the approximate times the different products are available.  We take great pride in the fine quality and outstanding flavor of our fruits and are sure you will find our products very satisfying.  For the Current Market and PYO Updates please check the box below.

The hot, dry weather has made for perfect growing conditions.  Blueberries will continue ripening through mid August, but quantities will taper off in the following weeks   Blackberry picking is at its peak during the next few weeks and you will have no trouble finding lots to pick.  The blackberry season will continue through most of August.

 

The Cutting Garden is now open and is a spectacular display of blooming flowers.  There are at least 30 brightly colored varieties to choose from.  Sunflowers, Zinnias, Cosmos, Celosia, Rubeckia, and Salvia to name a few.

 Raspberries are finished except for one here and there.  The later season Raspberries will start in early to mid August. 

 

In the Market for this week we have a plentiful supply of Blueberries, Blackberries and Peaches.  The Peach crop looks excellent this year and we should  have lots through August.  Apricots are finished for the season.
